This session will cover the changing nature of grants as resources become tighter and
funders seek solutions to more complex challenges. Solutions for today's funding agencies can be found by developing long lasting private-public collaborations and to provide a collective impact to their priority issues.

This session will deal with reframing grant proposal approaches to funding opportunities and identifying partnerships that can be sustained to provide collective solutions to complex challenges. Several recent and upcoming grant solicitations will provide the basis for this presentation. We will leave plenty of time for questions and answers. Cheryl Dettrick will join me in this presentation to bring a west coast perspective to the grants discussion.
